Mike first began ‘tinkering’ in the wood shop with nothing more than a vision of building his wife, Renee’, the dream Nativity scene she has always wanted. The perfect Nativity cut-out and painted white…simple and magical with the addition of a spotlight at night.

Fast forward five years and a newly renovated Kitchen - complete with custom live edge countertops - later, and it’s safe to say what once began as a hobby has now become an obsession.

Today Key Woodcraft is the combined passions of Mike and Renee’. Mike with his love and finesse for wood and “letting the grain do the talking” and Renee’ with her eye for detail and desire to bring their love for wood crafting into the homes of many.
